Riding Horses

While we were staying with some very dear friends in Colorado this summer, we were able to take Lily to ride some horses. Here are some pictures from our adventure:

I think this was Lily's favorite day of the entire summer!! I'm so glad that Lily was finally able to ride a real horse. Now, we just need to find some in Korea to ride!!

Violin Practice

We are off to a new world of practicing!! Lily has begun violin lessons this week and we are very excited for this. Lily's teacher is Korean and she comes to our house for lessons, twice a week. This is great for a couple reasons; Lily will learn to play the violin and also she has to use her Korean language!! Lily did great the first time and has been very excited to practice so far. I just hope we can keep this up.

Here is some footage of her practicing:

Lily has not only practiced playing her violin, but she has also practiced walking with it. She wants to be good in every area!!

Temple Day

This is a very late post. I should have done this weeks ago. On July 26 our family went to the Mt. Timpanogas Temple to be sealed as an eternal family. What a very special day this was for us. Lily was very nervous but that soon went away when she saw the toys in the youth center. We were so happy to have shared this very special day with many of our family and friends. We are so grateful for all the love and support that was shown to us this day. There were many people who traveled long and far to be there for us. Thank you thank you thank you.

We took some pictures after but not too many because it was VERY HOT!! We were ready to get in the car to the nice cold A/C!! Here are a few pictures from the temple:

Here is a picture with our very best friends.

Tyler, Casey & Russ have been friends since they were pre-school age!!

This is some of Tyler's family.

This is most of the group that was able to make it. Some left before we could take a picture.

Here are some of our favorite friends, Brother & Sister Dallon. Brother Dallon was our sealer. He did a wonderful job and gave us some wonderful teachings and words of wisdom. We love the Dallon's dearly.

Poor Lily was so tired after her big day. She slept like this in the car for a long time. I finally had the thought to put her legs down so that they wouldn't fall asleep too!! I was too late because when she finally woke up her legs were tingling!!

Home Again

This is a late post, but we are finally home again. We have adjusted to the time zone, cleaned all the dirt and mold out of the apartment and getting ready for school to start. It has been great to be back home with Tyler and Sammy, who missed us terribly. Here are a few pictures of Lily playing with some of her best friends:

Lily misses everyone she played with in the states, but she sure is happy to be back here with her friends. School starts on September 2 and then our life will be crazy. Lily will start soccer and has already begun her violin lessons. I will post about violin another day.
